Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. She attended the private Christian elementary school known as Monroe Christian School. As for secondary educationWard went to Ouachita Parish High Schoolbut then transferred in River Oaks High School on the following summer, after her senior year. There she was on the dance and drill teams. She briefly studied at Northeast Louisiana University after graduating. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen, leaving her school to go in New York. She decided to try acting a few years later. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited role in the 1970's soap opera All My Children, and then was cast as the lead in a drama for teens on NBC Prime-Time Malibu Shores. Late in 1996, she was in the role as Meg Cummings on Sunset Beach. She began her quest for a movie career starring as the psychotic Brittany Foster in the erotic film The In Crowd. The movie did not do well in the commercial the theater, however it had some commercial success with home-video and cable. Ward was as a character in Shallow Hal in the year that followed, and played a supportive role. Apart from her direct-to-DVD parts, she also appeared in numerous guest appearances on television shows like Friends. As part of ABC Family drama series Make it or break It's primary actors for the first two seasons, Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season. In private she was married to David C. Robinson. They had a son named Cameron.
